Personal Statement

I am known as someone who really cares about people. I will do my best to negotiate on your behalf for what matters most to you, and make our transactions as smooth and as simple as possible.

Where I am from:

I was born in Chicago, and grew up in the Kalamazoo area on Pickeral Lake, in Scotts, Michigan. I finished my Bachelor of Business Administration, in 1986.
I spent 3 years in the Mutual Fund Industry working for a Wall Street Investment Firm, in Lansing serving customers, in Kalamazoo, Grand Rapids, Detroit and Lansing! I opened my own branch office, in Kalamazoo ( of course!!) , in August of 1989. Over the past 25 years, I was hired over and over to set up sales appointments for business owners and CEO's and Presidents, contributing to the development of their businesses.

I finished Graduate School in May of 2012, in Louisville, Kentucky and taught in middle schools, and Waldorf Schools from 2012 - 2016, when I became a Realtor.

Today I work with clients in Kalamazoo, Portage, Mattawan, Vicksburg, Scotts, Schoolcraft, Comstock, Oshtemo and the surrounding areas, helping customers sell and buy their homes.

What is one interesting fact about you?

I really like people, all kinds, and I can listen for what people really want.
All we have to do to work effectively together, is to talk to each other.

Where did you go to college?

Michigan State University, Western Michigan University and Bellarmine University

What is your favorite hangout in Kalamazoo?

Hunan Gardens on West Main,
Kumo for sashimi,
Texas Township Farmers Market or at a
Mattawan Varsity Soccer Home Game

Where I live?

I live in Portage at the exact edge of Portage and Texas Township!

Places I have lived

I have lived in many, many places during the course of my life and often been a family participating in relocation, over and over again. With 3 children, we moved from Grand Rapids to Salt Lake City, and back again! Before my youngest child was born, we moved 3 times . When I work with my clients moving to a new city, I am a great resource, for how to get connected to new communities, and sort out the best places that they want to live and to find a home that really works with their lives. I can help people find a realtor in other areas as well, and not just any Realtor, one that has the experience and the relationship either with me, or my brokerage. Call today, if you find yourself in this situation for the first or the seventh time. I'm your best resource in the Kalamazoo area. Berkshire Hathaway is always chosen for a relocation package, and together with my brokerage and my business partner we can help you here or anywhere!
